Bethel United Church of Christ Salutes Broadway
Local musical theater stars to sing Broadway's best-loved songs

Elmhurst’s Bethel United Church of Christ is presenting “Put On Your Sunday Clothes II – A Salute to Broadway” on Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 p.m. as part of the church’s Music at Bethel Concert Series. The concert will feature outstanding performances from six fabulously talented Chicago-area musical theater stars singing Broadway’s best-loved songs, including selections from Hello, Dolly!, Funny Girl, Brigadoon, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, Smokey Joe’s Cafe and more.
Since 1999, the intimate and acoustically pleasing sanctuary of Bethel Church has hosted some of the most accomplished singers and musicians from Chicago and beyond. The Sunday afternoon concert is sure to enchant and enthrall audience members of all ages.
The talented roster of singers includes Felicia Filip Burkovskiy, Vasily Deris, Lara Filip, Sophie Grimm, Evan Tyrone Martin and Emily Rohm. The six performers are all veterans of Chicago’s musical theater and operetta scenes, appearing regularly in leading and supporting roles at Artists Lounge Live, Drury Lane, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire, Paramount Arts Center, Lyric Opera Chicago, Mercury Theater Chicago, Musical Theater Works and more.

All musical selections—which include duets and ensemble numbers—will be accompanied by world-class, award-winning pianist Jeffrey Panko, Bethel’s minister of music and artistic director of the concert series since its inception.
A wine reception will follow the concert.

Bethel United Church of Christ is located at 315 East St. Charles Road in Elmhurst. Tickets are available online through www.musicatbethel.com or by calling 630-279-4040. Prices are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $5 for students. A family pass is available at $45 for 2 adults and up to 5 children.
The church is accessible and parking is free. Enter at the Sandburg Middle School entrance from St. Charles Road, or from Huntington off Poplar Street
