Brian E. Wagner’s Scholarships Bestow $10,000 to Class of 2026
BEWSF Honors Promise, Purpose, and Perseverance

Since Brian Edwin Wagner’s tragic passing in an auto accident at age sixteen, his life story has helped many students achieve their pursuits for higher education. Outstanding leaders who are selected for the scholarship that bears Brian’s name receive $2500 towards their college tuition. Brian was a friend to all and led by example. He lived out loud and seized every opportunity to make a difference. Brian’s legacy and influence embody the mission of the BEWSF (Brian E. Wagner Scholarship Fund), which is to encourage high school students to improve their lives and the lives of others by exercising sound judgment and committing themselves to volunteer programs. The cause reminds us to live each day with integrity and make every moment count.
Our four recipients have used their initiative and talents to influence others; they have followed Brian’s lead in being their best in everything they do. They will proudly represent the foundation by carrying and passing the torch to other dedicated leaders. The BEWSF has donated over $130,000 in college tuition funding to 53 students since it was established in 2010. More information about the application process can be found at http://brianewagnerfund.org/. All high school seniors can apply for the privilege of being named next year’s honorees. There is no GPA requirement to receive this award.
BEWSF, Spokesperson Dan Gibbons helped launch the cause 15 years ago had the privilege to present the awards to those who were selected this year. He said, “We're proud to give financial assistance to these young adults as they advance into the next phase of their lives and careers. Hard work and dedication exemplify the qualities our committee looks for in all recipients. The 2026 winners personify the values Brian demonstrated: diligence, determination, and sacrifice."
