“I’m very grateful and honored to be recognized with this award,” says Monroy, a Westchester resident. “Sometimes we don’t realize the influence we have or know who we might be inspiring at any moment. My passion for the school is one way I can be of service to my community.”

This is the first recognition award for Monroy, but with her passion for living her dreams, it surely won’t be her last. She combines her work at British Swim School with her desire to help other people in any way she can. Currently the business rents other pools to hold their classes. Along with her business partner, Monroy plans on opening their own pool facilities next year, allowing them to offer even more classes.
