Join us for a powerful community walk that transforms heartbreak into healing.
Now in its third year, A Walk Toward Healing brings together hundreds of people across Chicagoland to uplift and support families shattered by gun violence and raise critical funds for the life-changing work of Chicago Survivors.
🧡 WHY WE WALK:
• To support survivors of gun violence across Chicago
• To fund crisis response and trauma counseling after cuts to these programs
• To give voice to grief, healing, and community strength
• To demand a future free from gun violence
🎈 This Year’s Event Includes:
✔️ A 1.5 mile walk through the Elmhurst University campus
✔️ Speakers sharing stories of resilience and hope
✔️ Free cotton candy, snow cones, yard games & more
✔️ Live DJ, family fun, and real inspiration
💬 “As someone deeply committed to gun violence prevention, this walk is a powerful way to turn concern into action. It's about showing up for families in pain and walking alongside them toward healing. I'm honored to be part of a team of passionate women making this event possible. We believe in the power of community to create change.”
