Pianist Zarin Mehta in Concert

Summer Music at Bethel presents the outstanding pianist Zarin Mehta in concert Saturday, August 1 at 7 pm in a program featuring works of Bach, Debussy, Shostakovich and Schumann’s virtuosic F sharp minor Piano Sonata.  Currently studying piano with Minsoo Sohn at the New England Conservatory while pursuing an undergraduate degree at Harvard University, Mehta’s appearances on national and international stages include a solo recital at the 2023 Ravinia Festival, WFMT Radio Chicago and festival appearances in Italy, Canada and the United States.  He was awarded top prizes at the MTNA National Senior Piano Division, the Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition, the Ruth Monte Memorial Bach Competition, and the Claudette Sorel Piano Competition.
