Join us for a day of community, healing, and hope - complete with free cotton candy, snow cones, and yard games for the whole family to enjoy! This event supports Chicago Survivors and their mission to aid gun violence survivors.

This marks the 4th year of A Walk Toward Healing, organized by friends who are part of Moms Demand Action of Northeast DuPage county. The walk benefits Chicago Survivors, and we are excited to have a new location this year. With ample parking and conveniently located bathrooms at The Hub, this year's route will guide walkers around Berens Park. This route is approximately a mile and will accommodate a pace for all walkers, ensuring that everyone can participate in this day of fun and connection.

Last year, there were over 300 participants, and we raised over $40,000 to fund the Storytellers Camp, a program specifically designed for children and teens who have experienced the loss of an immediate family member due to gun violence. This camp plays a vital role in guiding young individuals towards healing after such significant trauma.
