Chicken Truck Crashes Near Elmhurst: Reports

HILLSIDE, IL – A truck carrying 35,000 pounds of frozen chicken rolled over at a Mannheim exit ramp to Interstate 290 early Saturday morning, according to media reports.

The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. in Hillside, which is just east of Elmhurst, according to ABC 7.

The ramp was closed through the early afternoon, the TV station reported. Police did not say if anyone was injured.
