Child's Voice Celebrates Volunteers at Giving DuPage Volapalooza

Thank you to all incredible volunteers.

Child's Voice celebrated two incredible volunteers on Thursday, in collaboration with the annual Giving DuPage Volapalooza event.

Lynn Hippensteel has volunteered for Child's Voice for 8 years through special events, offering her talent to registration, raffle sales, and more at the annual Golf Tournament and Autumn Galas.

Shalee Wilkins has supported Child's Voice for over 10 years, including her service on the Autumn Gala committee and her design skills to develop logos and materials.

Child’s Voice helps children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak. Students wear hearing aids and/or cochlear implants and programs use a child-focused, research-based curriculum, all with the end goal of transitioning graduates back to their neighborhood schools. This year, Child’s Voice has supported nearly 400 children and their families. Students range in age from just a few days old through the age of 8.

Thank you so much to both of these amazing volunteers!
