Child's Voice Counts on Midwest Group for Successful Fundraiser
MBBI's Golf Event Raises Money for the Sixth Year

Along the sparkling shores of Lake Geneva, more than 250 golfers, sponsors, and supporters enjoyed a day of golf on July 9 at Geneva National Resort, raising $11,600 for children with hearing loss. For the sixth year running, the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries (MBBI) chose Child’s Voice as the beneficiary of their annual golf tournament.
MBBI is comprised of business brokers, M&A intermediaries, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, bankers, SBA lenders, wealth managers and more who collaborate to create the most valuable experience for respective clients. MBBI offers educational meetings, conferences and events to assist members in achieving and maintaining the highest levels of professional standards and qualifications.
Over the six-year partnership, MBBI and Child’s Voice have generated $47,400 to benefit children with hearing loss as they learn to listen and to speak. Programs at Child’s Voice support children from just a few weeks old through 8 years of age, who reside across the greater metropolitan Chicago area.

Child’s Voice helps children with hearing loss learn to listen and to speak. Students wear hearing aids and/or cochlear implants and programs use a child-focused, research-based curriculum, all with the end goal of transitioning graduates back to their neighborhood schools. The Child’s Voice program also includes early intervention services and audiology testing and support. At its two locations in Wood Dale and the Roscoe Village neighborhood in Chicago, Child’s Voice serves nearly 400 children and their families each year.
