On Saturday, October 26, 2019, Child’s Voice will celebrate with supporters and donors during its Autumn Gala, an elegant event offering cocktails and dining, live and silent auctions, raffles, the music of the Elmhurst College Jazz Band, and presentations from Child’s Voice alumni.

“Child’s Voice always has much to celebrate, and our Autumn Gala is where we toast our successes and set the stage for the future,” stated Dr. Michele Wilkins, Executive Director at Child’s Voice. “Along with the chance to enjoy great music and food, all of the funds raised directly impact our students.”

The Gala this year will feature alumni speakers Danny Stratis, ’11, of Westchester, and Abby Lewis, ’14, of Barrington. The Voice from the Heart Award, honoring exemplary and dedicated service to Child’s Voice, is being presented to the Pergament Family.

Child’s Voice, based in Wood Dale and Chicago, helps children with hearing loss learn to listen and to speak. Students wear hearing aids and/or cochlear implants and programs use a child-focused, research-based curriculum, all with the end goal of transitioning graduates back to their neighborhood schools. The Child’s Voice program also includes early intervention services and audiology testing and support. At its two locations in Wood Dale and the Roscoe Village neighborhood in Chicago, Child’s Voice serves nearly 400 children and their families each year.

The Autumn Gala is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, October 26 at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Tickets are on sale at ChildsVoice.org for $150 per person. Tables and sponsorships are available. We are also still accepting donations for our auctions and raffles. We are also looking for volunteers for the event. For more information or to donate or volunteer, please visit www.ChildsVoice.org or call (630) 595-8200.
