Coming Elmhurst Restaurant 'Quintessentially American'

The eatery has three locations in the Chicago suburbs.

ELMHURST, IL – A barbecue restaurant with the slogan "You can't spell BBQ without 'Q'" is coming to downtown Elmhurst.

Q-BBQ is planned for 158 and 160 N. York St. That is where Carmie Cakes and Giorgi's Game Spot were for a few years.

The chain has locations in La Grange, Naperville and Oak Park.

The chain calls its food "quintessentially American."

"From the backwoods of the Carolinas, to the meat markets of Texas, and the hole-in-the-walls of Memphis, Q-BBQ is inspired by authentic barbeque traditions and recipes across the country," the restaurant says on its website.
