Community Coworking Space To Open In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — Cohab, a community coworking space, will open in Elmhurst in early 2018. Cohab is described as a "community coworking space with sophisticated offerings and comfy amenities," the city said.

The location will open at 107 Adell Place early next year. The city said Michelle Steber, the owner of Cohab & Company, was shocked that only a handful of coworking spaces existed in the suburbs. According to the city, Steber is a remote employee for an eCommerce site, and began looking for coworking spaces in the western suburbs when she learned there weren't any in the vicinity.

The city said Steber and her husband Bill toured the location in Elmhurst, and thought it would be a good spot to create a coworking community. The business is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2018, and the according to the city, it will have private offices, monthly and daily membership offerings, along with various amenities to make this an ideal spot for entrepreneurs, start-ups and solo ventures.
