Conroy To Hold Business Roundtable
Conroy invites local businesses and residents to Roundtable with IMA and IRMA.
State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, is partnering with the Illinois Manufacturers Association (IMA) and the Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA) to host a Business Roundtable on Monday, July 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at SWD, Inc., located at 910 Stiles Dr. in Addison.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and this roundtable is an opportunity for local businesses to join the conversation about how Illinois can best work with the business community to create and retain well-paying jobs,” said Conroy. “In Springfield, we have approved reforms to reduce the cost of doing business and streamline the application and permit processes for small businesses and entrepreneurs. There is still more that can be done to support business owners as they seek to expand and thrive in our communities.”
At this business roundtable, which is free and open to the public, Conroy and guest speakers from the IMA and IRMA will provide updates on legislation. As a roundtable discussion, attendees will be invited to join in a group discussion about the state’s business policies, offer suggestions for legislation and ask questions.
