CONROY HOSTS PROPERTY TAX APPEAL SEMINAR

To assist residents appeal their property taxes, state Rep. Deb Conroy D-Villa Park, recently hosted a property tax appeal seminar with the Bloomingdale and Milton Township Assessors in Glendale Heights.

“My fight has always been for government transparency and easing the tax burden on hardworking middle-class families,” Conroy said. “Property tax appeal seminars are a great resource for residents to potentially find savings on their assessments and allow homeowners to express their ideas about how we can fix the broken property tax system. I listen to these concerns every day, and have made it a priority to support and vote for meaningful property tax relief in Springfield, including a property tax freeze.”

Conroy’s recent free seminar provided information to residents about property taxes and the appeal process. The event at the Glendale Heights Center for Seniors brought together dozens of residents and featured Bloomingdale Township Assessor John Dabrowski and Milton Township Assessor Chris Levan.
