Conroy Recognizes Winners of Second Annual Children's Art Contest

Conroy celebrates local children in 2nd annual art contest.

State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, is recognizing the winners of her second annual children’s art contest. The winners were selected for their depictions of what they want to be when they grow up.

“My office received a record number of entries from local children this year and I have enjoyed showing off their work in my office,” Conroy said. “I want to thank all of the students that entered the contest this year and proved what a bright future they have through their artwork.”

In the K-2nd Grade group, Kindergartener Clayton Rusch of Bloomingdale won for his depiction of wanting to grow up to be a pilot and 2nd grader Stephanie Kachikwu of Addison won for her entry that proves she has a bright future as an aspiring artist. For the 3rd-5th Grade category, 5th grader Juleymie Quiñones of Addison won for her advanced sketch work of being a dancer.
