Craft Beer Chain Plans Elmhurst Bar
Bar plans to feature family-friendly atmosphere with lounge seating, board games and craft sodas for kids.
ELMHURST, IL — A bar specializing in craft beer, with places in Park Ridge and Arlington Heights, plans to open an Elmhurst bar this summer.
Beer on the Wall promises to offer a coffee shop-type atmosphere with lounge seating, board games and bright lights featuring its beer and coffee to go, according to a city memo. The business is seeking a liquor license for 105 N. York St.
The bar plans to offer 500 different types of craft beer in their original packaging. It is also set to keep up to 20 rotating draft lines and other alcohol products.

The company said it supports local restaurants by having a "Bring Your Own Food" policy, letting nearby restaurants deliver or provide carryout to customers.
"The business naturally takes on a family-friendly atmosphere with changing tables in the bathrooms, craft sodas for the kids, retro video game systems and comfy seating for all to enjoy," the company's general manager, Ryan Tracy, said in a memo to the city.
