Crossing Guards Needed In Elmhurst

The city of Elmhurst is looking to hire regular and relief crossing guards.

ELMHURST, IL — The city of Elmhurst is looking to hire both regular and relief crossing guards. Regular crossing guards will work up to 25 hours per week during the school season, while relief crossing guards would cover any vacancies on an on-call, as needed basis, working approximately three hours per day.

The starting wage is $12.86 an hour. Those interested can submit applications online at City of Elmhurst employment opportunities at www.elmhurst.org.

Crossing guards are needed to safely let students cross to and from school at assorted locations. Standing for extended periods of time, in all times of weather, is a requirement.
