Culver's Franchisee Applies To Open In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — A Culver's may be coming to Elmhurst. According to the city, a Culver's franchisee has applied with the corporate office to bring the restaurant to the former Burger King in the north York corridor. Culver's would demolish the existing building and open a new restaurant in 2019.

The city said the next phase in moving the process forward is to seek zoning approvals from Elmhurst for the required drive-thru and signage.

Culver's is a family-favorite restaurant known for butter burgers, Wisconsin cheese curds and fresh frozen custard, the city said.
