Death Notice: Rita Moroney Murphy, 84, formerly of Elmhurst

Rita Moroney Murphy, 84, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Elmhurst for 35 years, died on Sunday, Nov. 11. She and her husband, the late Richard B. Murphy, raised their six children in Elmhurst. She is survived by 17 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Old St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 700 W. Adams St., Chicago. A funeral Mass will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
