Death Notice: Viola Weiher Lived in Elmhurst Since the Time of the Great Depression

Viola A. Weiher, 98, a resident of Elmhurst for more than 84 years, has died. She was a mother of three, grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of seven.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 132 W. Arthut St.
