District 212 hosts annual Winter Instrumental Concert

Concert features 200 student musicians from both campuses.

District 212 will host the annual Winter Instrumental Concert on Wednesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at East Leyden High School, 3400 Rose St., Franklin Park.

The concert features 200 musicians from both campuses and includes Leyden’s Symphonic Band, the East Concert Band, the West Concert Band, and the String Orchestra.

“Hundreds of our students will perform a diverse variety of engaging literature during our annual winter concert,” says Bryan Miller, Music Department Chair. “Works by notable classical and contemporary composers will be performed by members of our award-winning music program.”
