Door Kicked In While Elmhurst Man In Shower: Cops
The suspects were seen on a neighbor's camera walking around the house, police say.
ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst resident was in the shower early Thursday evening when he heard his back door being kicked in, police said.
The resident did not see anyone, and nothing was taken from the home, police said in a statement late Thursday night. The attempted residential burglary occurred about 5:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West Babcock Avenue, police said.
A neighbor's camera showed two men pull up in the driveway in a white sedan and walk around the house, police said. The police department said it is continuing to check surveillance footage in the neighborhood.

Anyone with information or video footage in the area is asked to call 630-530-3050. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
