DoorDash Disturbance At Elmhurst Restaurant: Police
In another case, police cited a teen for underage drinking at a party, authorities said.
ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a DoorDash disturbance, a party, a stolen truck, a domestic disturbance, a customer dispute and harassing messages. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
DoorDash disturbance
- A DoorDash representative argued with employees about 8 p.m. Friday at Lou Malnati's, 110 W. Park Ave. The person was given a no-trespass notice.

- An 18-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 700 block of North Emroy Avenue was cited about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Lorraine Avenue on a charge of consumption of alcohol by someone under 21. Police said they responded to a disturbance at a party.
Stolen truck
- A man locked his semi-truck Friday at a business at 888 N. Larch Ave. Two days later, a friend told the man that the driver's side door of his cab was ajar and that items from the interior were thrown on the ground outside the truck. A couple of blocks away, a semi-truck was stolen from Tower Truck Lines, 736 N. Industrial Drive, about 2 a.m. Saturday. An investigation is pending.
Domestic disturbance

- Police responded to a domestic disturbance shortly before midnight Thursday in the 200 block of North Ridgeland Avenue. The officer did not see any injuries. Both people separated for the night.
Customer dispute
- After a customer dispute about 7 a.m. Thursday, My Mechanic, 285 W. Butterfield Road, requested that police ask a person to be given a no-trespass notice. The police did so.
Harassing messages
- A resident in the 900 block of South Spring Road told police Thursday that a person keeps harassing him in text messages. An investigation is pending.
