Drug Use At Elmhurst Business: Police
A customer informed police she saw an employee snorting a substance, police said.
ELMHURST, IL — A Glen Ellyn man was arrested after a customer witnessed him using drugs while working at an Elmhurst business, according to a police report. A customer told police she saw Daniel Marchwiany, 30, snorting a substance off the counter at Repair Geekz, 927 S. York St., police said. When officers arrived, they said they found suspected heroin.
Marchwiany was taken to the DuPage County Jail on two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Another person was later released without charges, police said.
According to Repair Geekz's Google listing, it is "temporarily closed." The business specializes in computer and cellphone repair.
