Drunk Elmhurst Man On Ground With Child: Police

The man, who obstructed his arrest, was found outside his house, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – A drunk Elmhurst man was reported to be on the ground with a child outside his house over the weekend, local police said.

Shortly after midnight Sunday, the 44-year-old man, who lives in the 400 block of South Arlington Avenue, was charged with obstructing arrest and endangering the life or health of a child, police said.

The man refused treatment, was uncooperative and tried to walk away from officers, police said.
