Drunk Man with Bong, Brass Knuckles Breaks Bottle in Schiller Deck: Cops

An Elmhurst police officer who heard glass break around 1:18 a.m. May 24 in the Schiller Deck found a drunken man sitting in the driver’s seat of a running car.

The man, Michael Caruso, age 23 of the 500 block of Waikiki, Des Plaines, acknowledged that he broke a Miller Lite bottle, according to Elmhurst police.

Police found brass knuckles and a bong in Caruso’s possession.

He was arrested and charged with drunken driving, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and littering, police reported.
