Drunken Driver Refuses to Leave His Car: Police
He also ran over a curb and had an open container of alcohol in his car, police said.

Elmhurst police pulled over a Ford Mustang at 2 a.m. Aug. 22 after it rode over a curb and its tires squealed at Adelaide Street and Adell Place.
The driver, Drew Housley, age 24 of the 500 block of West Ronald in Addison, was found to be drunk with open liquor in his car, according to Elmhurst police.
Housley refused to leave his car after police ordered him to get out and told him he was under arrest, police reported.

He was arrested and charged with drunken driving, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and illegal squealing of tires. He was released on bond.
