DuPage Medical Group Welcomes Experienced Physicians, Expands Pulmonary Medicine to Elmhurst
DMG adds three physicians to its obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric and pulmonary departments.
ELMHURST and NAPERVILLE, Ill. – DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, recently welcomed three physicians to its obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric and pulmonary departments.
Dr. Brett Collander joins DMG’s pulmonary medicine department as it expands pulmonary services to Elmhurst. Board-certified in pulmonary medicine and board-eligible in critical care, Dr. Collander received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Northwestern University.
Dr. Collander holds professional memberships with the American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Chest Physicians. His medical interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, commonly known as COPD, sleep disorders, advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy and lung disease. He is now seeing patients at 133 E. Brush Hill Rd., Suite 110 in Elmhurst on the campus of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kathryn Kemnetz joins DMG in its obstetrics and gynecology department. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Kemnetz is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and her medical interests include obstetrics, contraception, minimally invasive surgery, as well as patient education. She will treat patients at 608 S. Washington St., Suite 204, in Naperville.
Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Christine Lipinski joins DMG in the pediatrics department. She earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Lipinski is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and her medical interests include newborn care, child and adolescent preventive healthcare, childhood behavior and development, as well as pediatric conditions such as asthma, allergies, ADD/ADHD, injuries and infectious diseases. She will see pediatric patients at DMG locations in Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn, Naperville and Wheaton.
