Elmhurst-Area Walmart Sees Upgrades
Expanded space for grocery pickup is among the improvements, store says.
ELMHURST, IL — Villa Park's Walmart, which is across State Route 83 from Elmhurst city limits, plans to unveil major upgrades Friday.
The improvements include upgraded space for online pickup customers, hands-on displays in the expanded electronics department and an updated vision center with more eyewear selection, according to a Walmart news release.
The chain said there is no fee for its grocery pickup service, where people can get their groceries without leaving their cars.

“Our store now has a beautiful new look and feel. Our customers will be delighted with the new signage, lighting, and flooring,” Villa Park store manager Suketu Patel said in the news release. “We just know the space is going to ‘wow’ everybody.”
