Elmhurst Armed Robbery Suspect's Photos Released

A man held up a northside gas station brandishing a revolver, police say.

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police have released photos of a man whom they say robbed a northside gas station last week.

The armed robbery happened about 2 a.m. Dec. 8 at Shell gas station, 926 N. York St., which is south of the intersection with Grand Avenue, police said.

According to a police report, the man brandished a silver revolver and took money from the cash register. He was last seen running east across York.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, 40 years old, and wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, a reflective vest, and a blue baseball hat.
