(Naperville, IL) March 17, 2017—Samantha Dench, an Elmhurst-based licensed esthetician for 13 years, kicked off the Chicago book launch of her new work “Skin Deep: Demystifying Skin Care Solutions to Achieve Healthy, Glowing Skin” to a welcoming group at Brazil Express in Schaumburg.
Dench, who resides in Austin, Texas, braved the cold weather to explain how she was interested in the science behind the skin and her inspiring journey in becoming a first-time author. She answered many questions on topics such as using Vitamin A to help skin, finding and adding a good esthetician to one’s skin care plan and seeing trends such as Korean beauty products.
“It was so great to be able to share my experience and reach out to those who have never heard my message about their skin or know the truth about skin and skin care,” she said. “I hope to be able to help men and women look and feel beautiful inside and out.”
Dench’s book addresses subjects such as giving tips to and tips to prevent skin conditions such as rosacea and normal aging, listing beneficial and harmful ingredients, making the right decisions on buying products based on one’s skin type and seeing how our diets affect our skin.
