Elmhurst Bar Site Of Aggravated Battery: Police

In another case, an Elmhurst man tried to climb a fence and then punched someone, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of aggravated battery, battery, domestic battery, visitation interference and disorderly conduct. Here is information from Elmhurst's latest arrest log:

Aggravated battery

  • Michael L. Mazzocchi, 25, of Bloomingdale, was arrested about 1 a.m. Friday on two aggravated battery counts. Police said the incident occurred at Lo Key cocktail bar, 115 W. Schiller Court. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Police provided no details about the incident. Patch plans to file a public records request.

  • A 39-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 600 block of West Fay Avenue was arrested about 5 p.m. Thursday on a battery charge. Police said the man tried to climb over a backyard fence in the 400 block of North York Street. When the victim found the 39-year-old, the suspect spat on him and punched him in the chest, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Domestic battery

  • A 41-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 300 block of South West Avenue was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Thursday at his home on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • A 39-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 200 block of East Gladys Avenue was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday at her house on a charge of unlawful visitation interference. The woman was interfering with a man's parenting time, violating a court order, police said. She was released.

Dine and dash

  • A 57-year-old Glendale Heights man was arrested about 6 p.m. Thursday on a theft charge. Police said the man didn't pay his bill at 100 Chop House and Grill. The man was released.

Retail theft

  • A 29-year-old Bellwood man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday on two counts of retail theft. Police said the incident occurred at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83. The man was released.

Disorderly conduct

  • A 41-year-old Westmont woman was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the woman punched another person in the face at Thorntons gas station, 476 N. York St. She was released.

DUI

  • A 31-year-old Northlake man was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday at Clinton and North avenues on charges of DUI and improper turning at an intersection. He was taken to the police station and then released.
  • A 61-year-old Villa Park woman was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake and York streets on a DUI charge. She was taken to the police station and then released.
  • A 50-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 700 block of South Fairfield Avenue was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Prairie Avenue on charges of DUI and driving an uninsured car. She was taken to the police station and then released.
  • A 26-year-old Villa Park man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at Grand Avenue and Crown Road on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and having tinted windows. He was taken to the police station and then released.
