Elmhurst Dealerships Sold To Bigger Group
The new company runs dealerships around the Chicago suburbs.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst Toyota and Elmhurst BMW, both on Lake Street, are being purchased by a larger group of car dealerships, an executive confirmed Monday.
The new owner is set to be McGrath Imports, which owns dealerships in Chicago and the suburbs.

The purchase is set to take effect Tuesday, Elmhurst BMW's general manager, Irv Shenderovsky, said in an interview.
"All employees are staying. It will be business as usual. Nothing will change but the ownership," he said.

The local dealerships make up the Elmhurst Auto Group. They have been run by the Schiele family for decades.
