Get ready for a summer of FUN! We have a variety of summer camps designed to offer something for everyone. From our popular Rising Star and Super Star Camps to our Camp Shorts and Nature Mini Camps, kids will find a way to grow, explore, engage, and play! Rising Star Camp is for children ages 3-5 and runs 8:30-11:30am. With lower staff-to-child ratios, a dedicated space for the needs of younger children, and trained staff, this camp offers our youngest campers the care and attention they need for a summer of growth and fun. Super Star Camp, for children ages 5-12, is our full-day camp from 8:30am-3:30pm. It is full of games, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, and water play days. Each week features a new, exciting theme, with special guests and other surprises throughout the summer. Camp Shorts offers flexible half-day options tailored to specific interests like theater, STEAM, crafts, and more. The Elmhurst Garden Club will hold its November meeting on Monday, November 2nd at Wilder Mansion, 211 S. Prospect Avenue, Elmhurst. This month there will be a white elephant and jewelry sale beginning at 10:30 am. Luncheon begins at 11:30 which is hosted by club members. The business meeting follows at 12:00 noon with the program to follow at 1:00 pm. The Club continues to celebrate its 90th anniversary with a new decade being highlighted each month. This month is the 1940's and the program will be Victory Gardens: from WWII to Present Day Community Gardens by Kirstin Larson. This event is free to the public. All are welcome.
