Elmhurst Hospital Virus Caseload Down
But it has seen three coronavirus deaths in the last week, according to its latest report.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst Hospital is treating fewer patients for the coronavirus than it has in the last couple of weeks.
As of Wednesday, the hospital had 15 COVID-19 patients. In the previous two weeks, the hospital reported 22 coronavirus patients, the most since February.
In the last six weeks, the hospital has seen six deaths as a result of the coronavirus. Three of those were in the last week, according to the hospital's latest report.

Since the pandemic's beginning, the hospital has reported 301 deaths from the coronavirus – a rate of 10.7 per month.
The hospital had the most coronavirus patients at one time on Nov. 17, 2021, at 84.

Since March, the number of such patients has been at a relatively low level, with just one case on St. Patrick's Day.
