Elmhurst Little League Team Headed To State Tournament

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst 10U Little League baseball team has made its way to the Little League state championship.

Its supporters say the team has not accomplished this feat before.

The local team is set to face Chicago's Ridge Beverly at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Roseland Little League, 12483 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago.

"These boys have earned every bit of this moment, and now it's our turn to show up big. Come out, wear your Elmhurst colors (royal blue and white), and help pack the stands!" the team said. "Let's send them into this game with the whole Elmhurst community behind them."

The head coach is Mike Williams, and the assistant coaches are Daniel Morrison and Dan Nagy.
