Elmhurst Man Accused Of DUI In Hit-And-Run: Cops

Police made four drunken driving arrests in the last few days.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police arrested four people in the last few days on DUI charges. Here is information from the reports:

  • James O'Connor, 61, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Charles Road and York Street on charges of aggravated DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane usage. Police said he was involved in a hit-and-run crash. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Jesus Flores, 38, of Cicero, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at North Avenue and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. In the same stop, Ofelia Rodriguez, 39, of Cicero, was arrested on a Cook County warrant. Both were released on bond.
  • Dionta Hebron, 28, of Chicago, was arrested about 3 a.m. Saturday at York and Lake streets on charges of DUI and being illegally stopped where prohibited. Police said he was found slumped behind the wheel. He was released on bond.
  • Erin Matthias, 21, of Shorewood, was arrested about 3 a.m. Saturday at Prospect Avenue and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, improper lighting and driving an uninsured vehicle. She was released on bond.
