Elmhurst Man Slaps Person's Face, Charged With Disorderly Conduct: Police
In another case, an Elmhurst woman was arrested on a domestic battery charge after striking someone else, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police have handled cases involving disorderly conduct, domestic battery, a car striking a building, retail theft and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Disorderly conduct
- A 38-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of Babcock Avenue was arrested Monday at his house on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the man slapped a person in the face. He was released.
Domestic battery

- A 36-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 100 block of Fellows Court was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home on a domestic battery charge. Police said the woman struck a man in the face during an argument. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Car vs. building
- An 87-year-old Elmhurst woman hit a building about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Skowron Eye Care, 370 N. York St.
Retail theft

- A 26-year-old Bellwood man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on a retail theft charge. Police said the theft occurred at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- An 18-year-old Orland Park man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Monday at Prospect Avenue and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, consumption of alcohol by a minor and improper lighting. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 41-year-old St. Charles man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, transportation of open alcohol, driving an uninsured car, improper lane usage, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and resisting a police officer. He was taken to the police station and then released.
