Elmhurst Man Throws Rocks At Cars: Police
In another case, an Elmhurst man was accused of attacking his wife, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of property damage, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, domestic battery and DUI. Here is information from Elmhurst's latest arrest log:
Rock throwing
- A 59-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of North West Avenue was arrested about 4 p.m. Thursday on charges of criminal property damage, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer. Police said he threw rocks at cars at Route 83 and North Avenue. He ran away from officers, but was caught, police said. He was released.
Domestic battery

- A 44-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of West Vallette Street was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday at his house on a domestic battery charge. Police said the man attacked his wife. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Disorderly conduct
- A 56-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man, both of whom live in the condo complex at 255 S. West Ave., were arrested about midnight Sunday on disorderly conduct charges. Police said the man and woman were in a dispute and had been repeatedly harassing each other. They were released.
DUI

- Nicole A. Kampy, 44, of Algonquin, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Robert Palmer Drive and York Street on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding, DUI, disobeying stop signs (two counts), driving an uninsured car, improper window tinting and stopping in the roadway. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 28-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Schiller Street and Robert Palmer Drive on charges of DUI, speeding and driving an uninsured car. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 25-year-old Essex Junction, Vermont, man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Lake Street on charges of DUI and driving the wrong way. He was taken to the police station and then released.
Truck violations
- A 23-year-old Gulfport, Mississippi, man was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at Fremont and Kenilworth avenues on charges of property damage and operating a truck in a prohibited area. He was released.
