Elmhurst Man Yells, 'Gun, Gun, Gun': Cops

The man's conduct in a store alarmed at least one other person, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man screamed, "Gun, gun, gun," and ran out of 7-Eleven, 525 S. Spring Road, on Thursday night, police said.

Darren J. Pasnik, 50, who lives in the 400 block of Berkley Avenue, was arrested about 9 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing identification, police said. A person in the store said Pasnik's conduct alarmed him, police said.

Officers found Pasnik, but he tried to walk away before he could be identified, police said. He was given a no-trespass notice.

Pasnik was released on bond.
