Elmhurst Official Retiring After 42 Years

Official is credited with volunteering for numerous organizations.

ELMHURST, IL — One of Elmhurst's top officials is retiring after serving the city for 42 years, the city announced Friday. He is Tony Cuzzone, the city's utilities capital projects administrator.

Throughout his career, Cuzzone has spearheaded many public works projects and had led by example with many years of volunteerism with organizations such as the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot, the Annie Ryan Run, York Township and the American Water Works Association, according to the city.

Cuzzone received many congratulations on Facebook, with one person saying, "Enjoy your retirement because I'm guessing you'll probably be busier than you are now."
