Elmhurst Police Investigate Late Night Egging, Firecrackers
Police were called to the 300 block of Ridge Avenue for reports of mischievous conduct.

Elmhurst police are investigating some mischievous conduct after a resident in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue found his front door and his car had been egged.
The resident heard a loud noise by the door around 1:40 a.m. Aug. 12, and he saw two boys running away from his home, northbound through Crescent Park, according to Elmhurst police.
The boys returned at 3:40 a.m., and the resident woke to the sound of firecrackers exploding south of his home. He called 911 and described the boys as 12-17 years old with skinny builds and dark shorts, police reported.
