Elmhurst Residents are Team Chairs for Les Turner ALS Walk For Life

The Les Turner ALS Walk for Life will feature Team Chairs and Elmhurst residents Matt and Karen Toole and their team on Sunday, September 18

Elmhurst residents Matt and Karen Toole were selected to be the Team Chairs for the 2016 Les Turner ALS Walk for Life at Soldier Field on Sunday, September 18th. They, along with their team “Matt's Minions”, will be participating in the walk and opening ceremonies. Last year an estimated 7,000 people participated in the Chicago walk, making it one of the largest ALS walks in the nation.

Red “Matt’s Minions” yard signs and car magnets are visible throughout Elmhurst to generate interest for Matt’s own team and further awareness for the walk and ALS fundraising. Matt’s Minions has roughly 100 team members and is in the top 10 teams for fundraising dollars at the Chicago walk.

All are welcome to join Matt's Minions Team and enjoy a wonderful event that includes children's activities, refreshments, ALS research posters, music and much more! To join Matt's Minions or make a donation for ALS research please visit:
