Elmhurst School May Get Interim Principal
The current principal is taking a medical leave of absence, the district said.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst School District 205 board plans to vote on an interim principal's contract Wednesday.
But the school board did not list the school in its meeting agenda. The agenda indicated the current principal is taking a medical leave of absence.
The board is holding a special meeting with the interim principal's contract as the only item on the agenda. No closed session is planned.

On Tuesday morning, Patch left an emailed message for comment with Tonya Daniel, the district's spokeswoman.
With more than 8,000 students, District 205 consists of a high school, three middle schools, eight elementary schools, an early childhood center and a transition center.
