Elmhurst Student Labeled Fugitive From Justice

He was arrested at his local house on an out-of-state warrant, police said. He remains in jail.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man was charged over the weekend with being a fugitive from justice, local police said.

Kevin B. Thynne, 21, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Friday at his house in the 500 block of North Oaklawn Avenue.

Because of a citizen's assistance, Thynne was found to have a warrant from Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, police said.

He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. He was still in jail as of Monday night.

On his social media accounts, Thynne lists himself as a student at the University of Alabama and a 2019 York High School graduate. He was a member of York's cross country team.
