Elmhurst Symphony Musicians at Mayslake in "Rhapsody by the Lake"

Celebrate spring in the beautiful setting of Mayslake Peabody Estate when the Elmhurst Symphony Musicians in Performance at Mayslake series concludes its 2018-19 season on Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. with a concert featuring the Young Lake Harp Duo in “Rhapsody by the Lake." Nichole Luchs Young and Janelle Jansen Lake will delight their audience with a program of music by Debussy, Gershwin, Salzedo, Thomas, Andrès, Tournier and Hasselmans. In celebration of National Poetry Month and in collaboration with First Folio Theater, Dave Rice, Executive Director and Interim Artistic Director, will read poems interspersed with the musical selections. The concert takes place in the Library at Mayslake, 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook.
