Elmhurst Woman Accused in Domestic Disturbance

Police responded to three domestic incidents in the last few days.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police responded to three domestic disturbances. Here is information from the reports:

  • Tammie Centina, 57, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Hillside on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Centina had been drinking and struck another person in the face.
  • A domestic disturbance took place about 10 a.m. Friday outside Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill. A suspect slashed the rear driver’s side tire of the victim’s car and drove away. Police could not find the suspect. Charges are pending.
  • Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 10 p.m. Friday at the Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave. Both parties agreed to separate for the night to avoid any further problems.
