Elmhurst Woman Pleads Guilty In Jan. 6 Riot: Report
Her companion admitted to the same charge, a newspaper reported. They are believed to be related.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst woman pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to taking part in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday.
Kimberly DiFrancesco, in her 50s, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building, the newspaper said.
Trudy Castle of Chicago, who was with DiFrancesco, pleaded guilty to the same count.

The women are believed to be related, according to federal court documents. Castle's known aliases were listed as Trudy DiFrancesco and Trudy Von Keudell.
Court documents include a number of pictures of the women inside and outside the Capitol. DiFrancesco's next-door neighbor helped the FBI identify her in the pictures, according to the records.

Minutes after rioters breached the Capitol, DeFrancesco and Castle were pictured inside the building, according to court documents. DeFrancesco took photos while inside, the records state.
The women walked through the Senate Wing door and went by the visitor's center, authorities said. Castle was adorned with a "Trump" cap and U.S. flags.
They were reported to be inside the Capitol for about 35 minutes. After they left, they met outside with a man believed to be Castle's adult son, Nicholas Von Keudell of Hampshire, Illinois, according to court records.
About an hour and a half later, the women again approached the Senate Wing door in an apparent attempt to re-enter the building, authorities said. At that time, officers pushed away the rioters, and the women appeared to leave, according to court documents.
