Elmhurst Women's Tennis Team Advances to USTA League National Championships

A women’s tennis team from Courts Plus in Elmhurst won the 4.5+ division title at the recent Adult 40 & Over Midwest Section Championships which took place Aug. 21-23. The team is now preparing for the USTA National Championships which take place October 23-5 in Indian Wells, California.

Women’s and Men’s teams from all five states in the USTA/Midwest Section (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin) competed for the Sectional Championship title in different divisions.

The 2015 USTA 18 & Over Midwest Section Championships took place Aug. 14-16, in Indianapolis, Ind. and included over 50 different teams and nearly 500 players. The 40 & Over Midwest Section Championships took place Aug. 21-23 in Indianapolis and included nearly 40 different teams.
