Elmhurt Man Arrested At House On Felony Drug Charge: Cops

In another case, a woman lied about security assaulting her, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with felony drug possession, disorderly conduct and DUI. Here is information from the latest arrest log:

Drug felony

  • A 45-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of North Willow Street was arrested about 11 a.m. Monday at his house on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Disorderly conduct

  • A 35-year-old Northlake woman was cited about 2 a.m. Tuesday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the woman reported that hospital security had battered and assaulted her. However, security footage showed that was not true, police said. She was released.
  • A 48-year-old Chicago man was cited about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said the man made someone else feel "alarmed and disturbed." He was released.

DUI

  • A 38-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of North York Street on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and no license plate light. He was taken to the police station and then released.
  • A 69-year-old Berkeley man was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at York Street and Butterfield Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, unlawful display of registration and driving without a license plate light. He was taken to the police station and then released.
